Currently hiring for the following positions:

RPN – Registered Practical Nurse

Garden Villa is seeking an RPN to join our wellness team. This position entails a rotation of 12 hour shifts both week days and alternating weekends. 7am to 7pm. Candidate must have a RPN certificate and be in good standings with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Duties include perform duties which provide optimum individualized resident care, under the direction of the Director Of Care. Candidates will be required to perform duties in accordance with the Standards of Nursing Practice, College of Nurses of Ontario, and Retirement home regulatory authority and Ontario Retirement Communities Associations.

Daily routines include, medication administration with computerized EMAR system, charting, care plans, correspondence with health care professionals, residents and their families, and on line training.

UCP – Unregulated Care Provider

Responsibilities included but not limited to : Medication pass, charting, providing care to residents, working along side of PSW, light cleaning and organization of the nursing unit.

PSW – Personal Support Worker

Garden Villa Retirement Residence in Chesterville Ontario is seeking PSW’s – personal support workers for FULL TIME and PART TIME work to care of seniors within our wellness department. The role consists of weekly and alternating weekend shifts in a bi-weekly period from 7pm to 7am, with holidays as required.

Cook

FULL TIME PREP/COOK Position: Garden Villa Retirement residence in Chesterville is in need of a Prep/Line cooks 7am – 3pm .

Weekday shifts will be Prep Cook, working along side of our food service manager and weekend shifts will be line cook.

This candidate will be working closely with the servers in our hospitality department under the direction of our food service supervisor. The candidates applying for this position should possess the following experience, willingness to learn , willing to work well with others as well as independently, follow direction, abide by policies and procedures and follow health and safety standards. Food handlers certificate and experience an asset.

Server

Garden Villa Retirement Residence in Chesterville has openings for a dietary department servers. This position will work under the direction of the Hospitality department manager and work along side cooks, and other servers. The candidates will serve meals and take orders from seniors, they will be dedicated to providing a warm, home like dining atmosphere. Experience and food handlers course an asset.

Housekeeping

Garden Villa Retirement residence in Chesterville Ontario is seeking a candidate to fill a Housekeeping attendant. The candidate will work as a team with another attendant under the direction of our administrator. Duties include personal laundry for residents, cleaning of residents suites, the building cleaning as well as another other duties that may arise. This position is 7 am to 3pm week days with alternating weekends . The housekeeping attendants should possess qualities of working independently as well as a team, be able to follow direction, be flexible in job routines, abide by policies and procedures and follow health and safety guidelines.
